The Appalachian Divergent: A Collection of Emerging Voices, Volume II is fiction, nonfiction, and poetry written and edited by the Creative Writing students at A. Linwood Holton Governor’s School. HGS serves students at 37 separate high schools in Southwest Virginia in more than 10 counties, and uses sophisticated distance learning and Internet based telecommunications technologies to deliver an advanced curriculum especially designed for Gifted and Talented students in their home schools.
